Lago is previously the home of
Jean Lafitte's pirates. El Lago is located on the west bank of
Taylor Lake to the northern shore of Clear Lake. This residential
community of about 3,400 citizens experienced a major growth spurt
when NASA arrived in 1961 and is proud to be the home of several
astronauts.
